Due to the diversity of topical subjects in the Museum’s
venue, various individuals or groups of individuals with specific
skills will be sought in order to accomplish each assigned task. Some
of these committees will be short-lived, and others may be ongoing,
depending on the task. Volunteers with
specialized skills are needed to help us achieve our short term as
well as our long term goals.
For example, one committee may be in charge of maintaining
our stamp collection, another may be in charge of maintaining our
postmark collection. These two are examples of ongoing committees.
Another case may be a committee to raise funds for a new building
or to erect signage on our property. These are examples of short-term
committees, because once the task is accomplished, the committee is
no longer needed.
